Description: Introduction to elastic waves, plastic waves, shock waves, equation of state, shock-induced temperature rise, high strain-rate deformation, viscoplasticity, shear bands, dynamic recovery and recrystallization, dynamic void growth, dynamic crack growth, spall failure & fragmentation.
